Spotlight Playhouse would like to thank all of the incredibly talented people who came out over the past two weeks to audition for our upcoming production of The Man Who Came To Dinner. Please visit the Show Page to find out who made the cast and more information on this incredibly fun classic.
Spotlight is pleased to announce our seven DASH Award nominees. We are so proud of all the talented people who have poured heart and soul into our productions this year, and it is thrilling to see individuals recognized for their achievements.
To all these named production heroes, we extend our heartiest congratulations. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. To the many unsung heroes who helped create these amazing pieces of art, we offer our profound thanks and gratitude. We also congratulate our many friends who were nominated for their work with other companies in the greater community of community theater!
Are you planning to audition for a show this summer or fall? If it’s your first audition or your millionth, it is a nerve-wracking proposition. We want to help you get ready to shine at your next audition!
Veteran community-theater directors Rachel Fennell and James Murphy will teach you how to walk into any audition feeling prepared and confident. You will have an opportunity to perform audition material and receive feedback in a supportive and fun environment. Bring a prepared audition song and/or monologue for the master class. If you are bringing a song, please be sure to bring the sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided.
This event will take place at the Haverhill Universalist Unitarian Church, located at 15 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, Massachusetts, on Saturday, August 8, 2:00–5:00 pm. The cost to attend is $15. Visit Eventbrite to reserve your place at the workshop.
