Feedback Meeting

Spotlight Playhouse wants to hear from you!

Many of you have supported and contributed ideas for improving our group, and we would like to get everyone together to make plans to meet the many needs of our growing organization. We will meet Thursday, July 23, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at our rehearsal space at 24 Essex Street in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

We want to know how you think we can grow Spotlight Playhouse as we move forward. Your feedback will help provide direction for our organization. At this meeting we will be asking for your advice and opinions. You will also get to see many familiar faces and friends. For those of you who would like to get more involved, we will provide those opportunities as well.

Please note that this is not a membership meeting but rather a meeting to discuss the internal workings of Spotlight Playhouse and how better to streamline our growing group. With so many wonderful opportunities before us, we need to ensure we are set up to handle the demands of these opportunities.

Audition Workshop

Are you planning to audition for a show this summer or fall? If it’s your first audition or your millionth, it is a nerve-wracking proposition. We want to help you get ready to shine at your next audition!

Veteran community-theater directors Rachel Fennell and James Murphy will teach you how to walk into any audition feeling prepared and confident. You will have an opportunity to perform audition material and receive feedback in a supportive and fun environment. Bring a prepared audition song and/or monologue for the master class. If you are bringing a song, please be sure to bring the sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided.

This event will take place at the Haverhill Universalist Unitarian Church, located at 15 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, Massachusetts, on Saturday, August 8, 2:00–5:00 pm. The cost to attend is $15. Visit Eventbrite to reserve your place at the workshop.
